HENDERSON, Tenn. — A local business is celebrating one year after starting during one of the most difficult times.
“We are a coffee shop, but we do a lot more than that. We focus on serving our community, that is really what we do here,” said Tim West, owner of Besso’s Coffee in Henderson.
Besso’s Coffee is celebrating one year, after opening in the middle of a pandemic.
“It has been a lot of work. Anybody who started a business from scratch will tell you, especially your first year, is just going to take a lot of hands-on work, and we’ve put in a lot of hours into the shop,” West said.
West says the way they have done business over the last year has changed drastically.
“We saw a lot more activity outside of the shop through deliveries or people coming through the drive-through,” West said. “Now, we see more people staying here in the shop longer, hanging out, enjoying the music we have and talking to each other, enjoying…
