Oakland County holding small business events as companies emerge from COVID-19 pandemic


Small businesses showing signs of life but look forward to state aid

Nearly $22 billion in COVID-19 relief funds are just waiting to be spent. On Thursday Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced a plan to use some of that cash to boost wages for Michigan workers.

OAKLAND COUNTY, Mich. – Oakland County is hosting a series of small business events aimed at connecting companies with resources and guidance as the economy continues emerging from COVD-19 pandemic.

A total of seven events held around the county titled Local Business Connect will hold community events with featured speakers and members of Oakland’s economic development team.
