Mauldin is considering revoking the business license of a nightclub on North Main Street that has been the subject of resident complaints for several years.
City Council is hosting a public hearing at 2 p.m. July 22 in the council chambers to gather input ahead of their decision.
Club Epic, which sits on a commercial strip surrounded by residential neighborhoods near the heart of the city, has since at least 2018 drawn complaints from neighbors, nearby businesses and city officials who say the popular venue attracts crime and littering and causes parking issues.
The club’s owner, Kendrick Foster, declined to comment.
