Letters: SBA’s withdrawal of promised money to small businesses is spirit-crushing

These businesses, all owned by women, people of color and/or veterans, are part of the more than 100,000 companies approved by the SBA for funds from the Restaurant Revitalization Fund program. Since mid-May, the SBA told these companies their funds were coming: in three to seven days, then seven to 10 days, then 10 to 14 days, then “don’t worry, you are approved, the funds will be coming.”
