Blue Origin founder Jeff Bezos and three passengers react to the historic launch aboard the New Shepard.
A thrilled Jeff Bezos had a message for his 1.3 million Amazon employees around the globe and millions of the e-commerce giant’s shoppers after his historic launch into space on the New Shepard rocket.

“I want to thank every Amazon employee and every Amazon customer because you guys paid for all of this. And so seriously, for every Amazon customer out there and every Amazon employee, thank you from the bottom of my heart very much. It’s very appreciated,” he said during the press conference following his return to Earth after his 10-minute flight to space.
Joining Bezos were his brother Mark, female space pioneer 82-year-old Wally Funk, and 18-year-old Oliver Daemen.
