MOUNDSVILLE — The recent passing of Bob Munn, former general manager of the Green Tab, was mourned across the area, as colleagues, business partners and friends recalled that the line between those roles blurred when it came to Munn.
Dave Knuth, who was a longtime executive director of the Marshall County Chamber of Commerce, said his working relationship with Munn was a boon to the Chamber’s function, both with the Green Tab and with the Strand Theatre, during the process of transferring the property to the theatre’s preservation society, around 1999 or 2000.
“He handled himself very professionally, and I enjoyed working with Bob, not only with the Green Tab, but also, he and his father were the owners of the Strand Theatre when the Strand Theatre Preservation Society was organized,” Knuth said. “We purchased the Strand from Bob, this was after his father passed away. … Bob and I have been friends probably since the late ’90s, when I…
