Cleveland Chain Reaction has selected 24 businesses as semifinalists for business bootcamp

CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Chain Reaction project, a small business pitch competition, has announced 24 businesses as semifinalists that will participate in a six-week business bootcamp.

Businesses will use the bootcamp to prepare to make pitches at the Business Pitch Showcase scheduled for Sept. 29-30 at the Greater Cleveland Partnership offices on Huron Road. The competition includes businesses from a variety of areas, including food and hard goods manufacturing, as well as technology and healthcare, according to a news release. Businesses were selected because of their potential growth and impact on jobs and investment within the city.

Cleveland Chain Reaction says it strives to help create jobs, prosperity and investment in city neighborhoods and educate business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs about how they can benefit the community.
