A man faces burglary charges, 4 Evans businesses involved – Greeley Tribune

On June 5, a 34-year-old man with a stolen vehicle was arrested with multiple burglary charges involving four businesses in Evans.

At 3:18 a.m., Evans and Kersey officers responded to an active burglary at 3230 23rd Ave., Unit 400, the Tortilleria las 9 Americas. At the same time, an alarm went off at Sherwin Williams paint store located in Unit 500 in the same strip mall.

The reporting party from the tortilla store witnessed, through store cameras, a man attempting to open the back door handle to the business and eventually entering the building. The man suspect, Arthur Andrade, 34, left the scene in a gray Buick Enclave.

Once officers arrived, they contacted the witness in the grocery store. He said as he was opening the store around 3 a.m., he saw Andrade leave out the backdoor of the store. He reported that Andrade left the area of businesses in his vehicle.
