As Main South continues to grow in Worcester, small business owner Laura Perez-Garcia joins MassLive to discuss the neighborhood’s future

As cases of COVID-19 continue to to remain at fractions of the totals seen in Worcester during the winter of 2020, neighborhoods are preparing for for what business may look like.

The Canal District is welcoming thousands weekly for Worcester Red Sox home games. Downtown is beginning to see the foot traffic it had prior to the pandemic with its highly saturated office space. In Main South, business owners are beginning to see interest again.

Laura Perez-Garcia, the owner of Voltage Fashion Boutique and the president of the Main South Business Association, will speak with MassLive reporter Michael Bonner on Wednesday at noon to discuss the neighborhood bouncing back as COVID regulations in the state were lifted.
