NEW CARLISLE — One person has died after an attempted robbery turned into a shooting at a New Carlisle business Sunday night.
Clark County Sheriff’s Office tells us crews were called out to a shooting at the Papa John’s on North Main Street around 11 P.M. Sunday.
Major Chris Clark said two suspects were attempting to rob the pizzeria around closing.
One of the suspects was shot by a person at the scene.
CareFlight was called to the scene to transport the injured suspect to Miami Valley Hospital but was canceled halfway through their response.

Major Clark tells us one suspect is still at large at the time of this reporting.
Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to assist crews on the scene. New Carlisle and Bethel Township medical units were called to the scene.
No one has been charged in this case according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.
