Representatives of Needler’s Fresh Market present representatives of Hancock Health with a check for $5,000.

HANCOCK COUNTY — A mental health-focused campaign organized by a New Palestine supermarket’s parent company donated $5,000 each to Hancock Health as well as the Children’s Bureau Inc. and Families First.
The contributions came from the Nourish Your Mind campaign started by Fresh Encounter Inc., which operates Needler’s Fresh Market. All told, Fresh Encounter and its customers donated $100,000 to mental health organizations through the campaign.
Hancock Health will put its funds toward its behavioral health expansion initiative and will support the addition of behavioral health counselors, navigators and the creation of a substance use treatment clinic.
