Business owner cited for discharging fireworks: Brunswick Police Blotter


Fireworks, Pearl Road

Ownership at Donut Land was cited for discharging fireworks behind the business at 10:19 p.m. July 3. Police reportedly saw the fireworks being discharge and found more fireworks at the scene.

Unauthorized use, Cross Creek Drive

A man reported unauthorized use of his vehicle by his ex-girlfriend at 5:32 p.m. June 25. The man said that the woman refused to return his 2020 Jeep Cherokee. Police contacted the suspect, who agreed to leave the Jeep unlocked at a residence in Madison, Ohio, to be picked up by the victim.

Drugs, Clearbrooke Drive

A driver was stopped at 8:02 a.m. June 24 for having a suspended license. Police smelled marijuana inside the car and marijuana and drug paraphernalia were found inside the car. He was cited for driving under suspension, no operator’s license, drug abuse, and drug paraphernalia possession.
