UPS and Southern Beverage are two new occupants along the Southern end of Highland Colony Parkway in the Ridgeland Business Park — an area that is experiencing a lot of growth recently.
Construction has begun on the two sites with completion dates anticipated mid-summer of 2022 for the UPS Distribution Center and the fourth quarter of 2022 for Southern Beverage. Together, the two companies will be bringing Madison County an estimated 361 new jobs.
“These both are obviously warehouse and distribution jobs,” the Madison County Executive Director of Economic Development Authority Joseph P. Deason said.
These two distribution centers will have competitive salaries for their employees. Southern Beverage’s employees will earn an average of just under $50,000 per year with UPS slightly higher at $57,000. The companies won’t only be…
