I am an architect who has lived in Duluth now for 31 years. I have spent the majority of that time on professional, recreational, and voluntary involvements in Duluth and Superior. I have served on five city of Duluth commissions: the Duluth Public Arts Commission, the Downtown Waterfront Design Review Committee, the Duluth Heritage Preservation Commission, and, most recently, the Duluth Planning Commission for two terms that expired this past April. I am also currently serving on the Superior Historic Preservation Commission.
In 2009, at the bottom of the recession, I started my business, Meyer Group Architecture. We just celebrated our 12th year.
Based on all of these experiences, I decided to run for City Council At Large: to help lead our city forward following this difficult year of pandemic and social unrest.
