CHARLOTTE — A Charlotte woman turned her passion for wrapping gifts into a business — and her business is booming this holiday season.
Natasha Pender says her aunts used to buy a lot of presents and not want to wrap them. That was where she stepped in. Natasha would wrap the gifts for her aunts to make a little extra cash around Christmas.
Years later, she heard from someone that they wished they had someone to wrap their gifts for them. The hobby she loved then became a business — Wrapper’s Delight LLC. The business launched in January 2020 and interest this year is extremely high.
“I am sweating. My fingers are a little sore,” Pender said. “It has been incredible.”

Pender takes her mobile wrapping station anywhere it is needed. On Christmas Eve, the van was posted outside the Charlotte Premium Outlets.
