CNBC Is Taking Its Events Business Global

From the ongoing global chip shortage effecting everything from consumer electronics to ordinary household items, to the lingering effect of the coronavirus pandemic on businesses ranging travel to the hospitality sector, the agenda for Wednesday’s CNBC Evolve Global Summit is packed, to put it mildly.

Wednesday’s event also represents something else for CNBC — a first-of-its-kind for the network, in fact, which managed to note only deliver its complete slate of scheduled events during the pandemic year of 2020 but also added more to it and grew its overall event attendance 2.5x in 2020 over 2019.
