Community assistance needed in Lander business hit and run

(Lander, WY) – The Lander Police Department shared the following information on their Facebook page in regards to a hit and run resulting in damage of equipment at a Lander business.

(It should also be noted, that a commenter on the mentioned LPD post asked if the plate number was checked. LPD responded, “The subject pictured does not appear to be the current registered owner of the vehicle involved based off of the license plate balance.”)

The Lander Police Department needs the help of the community! On 06/05/2021, around 6:40 p.m., an unidentified male drove his 1990 Toyota SUV into (and over) a stack of railroad ties in the parking lot of a Lander business in the 200 block of Grand View Drive.

The male and his female passenger, left the area after causing this damage and failing to notify the business or law enforcement.
