LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The bright lights of Las Vegas got brighter over the holiday weekend as the city was full of events and visitors, giving businesses a much-needed financial boost.

Fun-filled afternoons by the pool led to spectacular firework shows at night as Las Vegas pulled out all of the stops over the holiday weekend.
Businesses at Downtown Container Park usually have more visitors during the cooler months but many say they saw a larger number of visitors this 4th of July weekend.
“We have been looking at the foot traffic numbers and we have had thousands of people come into the park. We’ve seen a lot more tourists. It’s usually a lot of locals but we’ve been seeing a lot of tourists,” says Container Park General Manager James Gonzales
