Yoga Junction LLC, a downtown Louisville wellness studio, was recently unable to renew its lease at 927 Main St. and has asked the city for a tax and fee rebate to help move to a new location nearby on Spruce Street.
The new space would allow the business to expand from 1,120 square feet to 1,497 square feet, according to a city memo.
A relocation would happen within the next several months.
Unlike many businesses that apply for thousands of dollars in business assistance packages from Louisville, Yoga Junction is seeking only $955 over a five-year period.
The Louisville City Council will review the company’s request during its meeting Tuesday.
