BUCKMAN — The cause of a fire at Trails Edge Food Fuel and Liquor Thursday, July 8, on Highway 25 just south of Buckman is under investigation.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s office received the call at about 10:13 a.m. Thursday. Deputies arrived to find smoke and fire coming out of the north and west sides of the building. The Pierz Fire Department responded and was assisted by the Royalton Fire Department.
According to the sheriff’s office, people were inside the building when the fire started, but everyone was able to escape without injury.
The Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office was notified and will conduct an investigation.
The Pierz Police Department and Minnesota State Patrol also assisted at the scene.
