While the return to normalcy for local businesses during the pandemic continues to be a slow process in many communities, but in Southbury five more food industry businesses are coming to town this summer.
Opening this summer at Southbury Green are Lucas Local Oyster and Restaurant (July) and Southbury Deli (August). Chipotle opened at Southbury Green in July, Southbury Seafood Market opened in mid-July at Heritage Village and Fortune House opened at 1481 Southford Rd.
“It’s exciting to see our local economy continue to grow as we offer more retail options for our community and return to normalcy,” Manville said. “We have locally owned businesses and national retailors that have come in and more will be coming.”
