Take it from Natasha Bazilevych, a Ukraine woman who was inspired to start a global public speaking business after running Grandma’s Marathon in 2015.
“There’s so much connection between starting a business, achieving a goal or fulfilling any of your dreams and running a race like this,” Bazilevych said.
Bazilevych said the skills she learned while running go hand in hand with her work at ChangeView Inc., where she serves as the Founder and President, teaching people in over 20 countries how to be good public speakers. Some of these skills include discipline, breathing techniques and positive affirmations.
“I always tell people: ‘You can develop public speaking skills. It’s a skill. You can develop it.’ That’s why people shouldn’t give up,” Bazilevych said. “Through my business, I help people take the message that they have and bring it out into the world.”
