A Wilmington business park is about to grow again if recent plans come to fruition.
A 15,500-square-foot office building would be the 17th and the last in Burnt Mill Business Park for development firm Abinto Corp.
Demand has been strong over the years for the park’s offerings, said Steve Hall, a partner with Wilmington-based commercial real estate firm Maus, Warwick, Matthews & Co.
“The last four buildings, we put them up and they were leased before we got a certificate of completion on the shell of the buildings,” Hall said. “We had them all leased out.”
Adding the new building, the business park will contain close to 300,000 square feet. Some major existing tenants are government agencies, including the IRS. The park also has a location of the restaurant Brunches.
