Addressing the needs of future professionals in the field of business as it relates to sports, Immaculata University is offering a Bachelor of Science in Sport and Business Management beginning this fall. The program, offered on campus, combines a traditional business management degree with a traditional sport management degree.
The new major will leverage many of the business, economics, accounting, strategy and marketing courses offered in Immaculata’s established business programs while providing major-specific curriculum on events, marketing, administration, management, strategic planning and ethical issues related to the business of sports. Students also complete an internship in a specific area of this professional field. The internship provides an in-depth analysis of practical field experience to prepare students for career choices.
