The COVID-19 pandemic has dealt a rough hand to local businesses not just in Indiana County, but across the U.S. as well. One local employee is not taking the effects of the pandemic from a negative aspect, but as a challenge for area residents.
Zack Hunter, manager of Gingerbread Man Running, is challenging residents to shop local as more pandemic restrictions lift, as a way to reward local businesses for staying strong when the pandemic was at its strongest point.
On Indiana in the Morning today, Hunter cited many reasons for shopping local. One was the human aspect customers receive when visiting.
