Amid surging post-pandemic demand, plastic surgery clinics in Baton Rouge are being swamped with calls from those seeking surgery and other aesthetic services.
Business at Weiler Plastic Surgery is up 40% across its five clinics, says CEO Bryant Voth, who believes the increase is tied to clients, tired of being homebound, deciding to invest in themselves after amassing greater disposable income than usual.
“Botox and fillers have never been this busy,” says Voth, who has hired an additional surgeon and opened a new clinic in Covington. “Numbers for aesthetic services like skin care treatments are peaking. Surgery has never been this busy.”
It’s much the same story for Dr. Anthony Stephens and his clinic on Dijon Drive, where business for aesthetic services are up between 12% and 20% from a year ago. His surgical practice is up 20%, largely due to rising popularity in face-lifts and “total mommy makeovers.”
