Local recipient encourages other businesses to apply for “Business to Business” grant | News

(WSIL) — The first grants have been awarded through the state’s “Back to Business” recovery program. Those grants will help Illinois businesses impacted by the pandemic. Nine businesses in our region are some of the recipients. That includes S-I Bowl. They received $85,000. The owner of SI Bowl tells News 3, like many others they to had to shut down. They later reopened 136 days later. 

Now, the owner says they’re thrilled to get the grant and encourages others to apply.

“Always apply for what’s available. and even if they say you’ve seen these funds have already been distributed you don’t know what is available and what is left. Take the time, go through the process, and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to be awarded such as us.” said Steve Ludwig, Owner of SI Bowl.
