Man faces murder charge in shooting death of teen behind Garland business

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a February slaying in Garland.

Luis Garcia faces a murder charge in the death of 18-year-old Rhamil Reason. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.

Reason, a Dallas resident, was found dead Feb. 1 behind a business in the 500 block of West Interstate 30, near Broadway Boulevard. Police said surveillance video showed that he and another person had been involved in an overnight gunfight.

Police did not say how they identified Garcia as a suspect.

Garcia was being held in the Garland jail Friday. His bail had not been set.
