- Rep. Hakeem Jeffries said he wouldn’t be surprised if House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy appointed Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, among others, to the Capitol riot committee.
- “He’s got quite a collection of characters to choose from,” Jeffries said.
- The committee will be formed to investigate the January 6 insurrection, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced earlier this week.
