Transit Agency Hosts Three Pop-up Events This Week
(MARTA is expanding its outreach efforts to ensure residents, stakeholders and business owners in the Campbellton Road area have an opportunity to weigh in on historic transit investment planned for the corridor. In addition to ongoing canvassing activities taking place at area rail stations and on key bus routes, MARTA will host three pop-up meetings at Fort McPherson LRA located at 1794 Walker Avenue in Atlanta, on Tuesday, July 27 and Wednesday, July 28 from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., and on Saturday, July 31 from 9 a.m. until noon.
At the scheduled events, participants will be able to learn more about the proposed transit options, take a survey to weigh in on the preferred high-capacity transit modes and speak directly with the project management team.
