“(Creating the store) happened very quickly,” Becky said. “(Shane and I) are spur-of-the-moment people. We plan, but we like to take the day as it comes.”
Becky, who grew up in Perham, also runs another Perham-based business with Shane, Hillside Lifts. With this business, they sell incline elevators that provide access to lakeshores for houses on an elevated lake property or bluff. The two of them originally worked for the elevator manufacturer, Marine Innovations, in Frazee. With a mutual agreement between them and the manufacturer, they started their own shop for selling these lifts.
They started running Hillside Lifts out of a shop in their house, and it grew from there. They’ve since built an even bigger shop.
