Microsoft officials have been working on plans to close the Microsoft Stores for Business and Education for at least a year, as my sources told me a while back. Today, July 21, officials finally went public with this fact via a blog post. Microsoft is dropping the Store for Business and the Store for Education in the first quarter of 2023, officials said today.
The Microsoft Store, originally known as the Windows Store, is Microsoft’s online app store that is built into Windows 10.
