Minimum wage, cocktails to go and more: Pa. lawmakers have unfinished business when they return in fall

State lawmakers managed to get a state budget done on time this year but they left a lot of other unfinished items on their plates that could be discussed in the fall.

That’s not unusual. When differing views on a particularly big ticket issue can’t easily be resolved as the June 30 end of the fiscal year draws near, legislative leaders tend to push them aside so they can focus on getting the budget done.
