TUCSON (KVOA) – Lately across Tucson there has been a noticeable increase in homelessness.
The News 4 Tucson Investigators have previously reported that Tucson Police warned more homeless would be heading into town for the better weather during the winter months, but that increase has several local business owners seeing more issues.
Mike Carlson has owned an air condition business on East Fort Lowell Road for more than 30 years but says he has never seen homelessness this “out of control.”
Carlson told the N4T Investigators that the homeless population near his business has been getting more aggressive.
“The problem is escalating, the last three events have been confrontational,” Carlson said.
