Construction has started on two huge North Texas business parks – one in McKinney and the other in North Fort Worth.
Both industrial campuses are projects of Transwestern Development Co.
The almost 1 million-square-foot McKinney industrial and office park is located adjacent to McKinney National Airport and will be used to attract new business to the Collin County city.
The more than 60-acre McKinney National Business Park will include five buildings, said Denton Walker, Transwestern Development’s regional partner.
“It’s a combination of industrial buildings that fit the technology and aerospace engineering users,” Denton said. “We believe with the strong growth up there we will see an influx of companies that want to be in in Texas that are coming in from California and other areas.
