Library adds free career resources
The Carlsbad Library is offering free access to holders of Carlsbad library cards to several new free online resources for learning and career development. They include: Coursera, which offers courses and certificate programs with businesses, universities and organizations; Skillshare, which offers video courses on business-related topics such as entrepreneurship, graphic design and freelancing; GetSetUp, which focuses its virtual classes and interest groups on those ages 55 and older; and LearningExpress, which features prep materials and sample tests for academic and occupational exams.
