FLINT, MI — A new co-op grocery soon to begin construction on Flint’s north end will host a series of vendor events throughout the summer to support small businesses.
The first small business pop-up event takes place from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 13 on the lawn of Eagle’s Nest Academy, 5101 Cloverlawn Drive, in Flint and will feature an array of vendors from north Flint and beyond.
Community members are asked to enjoy an afternoon of shopping with vendors selling a variety of items including but not limited to sunglasses, health & beauty care items, self-care products, household goods and women’s accessories.
The event is free to attend, according to a North Flint Food Market news release.
In addition, the In/Out Taco Stand food truck will have items available for purchase on site. Their menu includes tacos, hot dogs, polish sausages and much more.
The pop-up shops will continue throughout the summer. All pop-ups are from 2 to 5 p.m.
