The state of Ohio said it will begin accepting applications Tuesday, June 29, for four grant programs created with small businesses in mind that have suffered significant losses during the COVID-19 pandemic.
These programs provide some additional avenues for help for struggling businesses following the closure of the application window for the Paycheck Protection Program on May 31. While the Small Business Administration’s PPP is winding down, there are still other SBA program’s available — including Economic Injury Disaster Loans and the Community Navigator Pilot Program — which you can read about here.
One of the new programs is the Food and Beverage Establishment Grant, for example, which has $100 million available. Through that, hospitality businesses can apply for grants of either $10,000, $20,000 or $30,000.
