Old Dominion Seeks Drivers, Dockworkers

INDIANAPOLIS –
Old Dominion Freight Line is hosting a job fair Saturday in Indianapolis as it responds to industry and company growth. The North Carolina-based trucking company will be hiring 30 drivers and 30 dockworkers to work out of the Indianapolis depot.

Old Dominion says the event will be in-person and managers will be making hiring decisions onsite. Job applicants are asked to bring a hard copy of their resume.

The carrier says it is looking for local pickup and delivery drivers, as well as line haul drivers with an average annual salary ranging from $73,000 to $98,000. Dockworker pay begins at $22/hour.

The company says it has hired more than 1,000 Class A CDL truck drivers nationwide to accommodate business growth.
