After 30 years downtown, Hyde Gallery relocated April 15 to 1121 S. Glenstone Ave. Owner Jan Hyde said the gallery, which showcases landscape and abstract paintings as well as bronze, clay, glass and wood sculptures, occupies roughly 2,800 square feet of first-floor space in the Hyde, Love & Overby LLP law firm building, where her husband, Kent, is a partner. It previously operated at 221 E. Walnut St. Hyde said she and her husband sold the downtown building, which also houses PaPPo’s Pizzeria & Pub. The Hydes owned the building since 1989, she said. Greene County recorder filings show the Hydes sold the building March 16 to 5M Property Holdings Inc. A deed of trust between 5M Property Holdings and Springfield First Community Bank for the property lists a note amount of $480,000.
