Opinion: Business must protect society in an unknown future

Given enough isolation, a mind wanders to seemingly innocuous places. During nearly two years of avoiding people, daydreaming often found purchase in reflection. Like the other day, when I was daydreaming about the pandemic pandemonium of early 2020 when the world elevated toilet paper to the pyramidion of life. I drifted between worrying about our future and lamenting what we’d lost from the past. In my head, Joni Mitchell was stuck on a continuous loop crooning about not knowing what you got till it’s gone.
