Packers’ next order of business: What Aaron Rodgers return to Green Bay means for Davante Adams

Aaron Rodgers will be back under center for the Packers in 2021. Now the only question left is whether his favorite target will be joining him in Green Bay.

Like his quarterback, Davante Rodgers had been holding out from returning to the Packers. On Sunday, the duo hinted a return for both of them could be in the works by posting the same picture of Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen from the ESPN documentary, “The Last Dance,” to Instagram.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports the restructured deal with Rodgers will give Green Bay more cap space and help the team make a renewed attempt at extending Adams.

The 2021 season is Adams’ last in his current four-year, $58 million deal with the Packers.
