The Red Bluff Round-Up received a donation of $36,000 from local Taco Bell owner Jan Sutherland to support its 2021 Tough Enough to Wear Pink fundraising efforts.
A check presentation ceremony took place earlier this month with St. Elizabeth Community Hospital.
For 14 years, the Sunday performance at the Red Bluff Round-Up has been dedicated to Tough Enough to Wear Pink. A live auction is sandwiched between rodeo events, and local business owners and families face off in an exciting bidding war. The highest bidder not only captures a fantastic giveaway item, but supports breast cancer treatment and care in Tehama County.
Sutherland’s auction donation pushed the total raised by the Red Bluff Round-Up to more than $550,000 since the program’s inception.
The RN Navigator Program, physician care, chemotherapy treatments, facility upgrades and the recent opening of the Oncology and Infusion Center are just a few of the services that have benefited from…
