Business with Bang

SCHUYLKILL HAVEN — The Greater Schuylkill Haven Area Business Association is promoting a promotion called “Business with a Bang” on Saturday with community stores open with specials and deals.
People also are invited to “hang out in the borough for the big fireworks display at Island Park that evening for a full day of festivities,” according to a release from Jacqueline Engel, executive director of the Walk In Art Center.
The 2020 “Bang” was so successful the association is doing it again and even more businesses are participating and sponsoring the 2021 event, according to the release.
People may stop at Spotts Insurance, 19 E. Main St., from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and pop a balloon to win cash or gift certificates from businesses, including Queen Bee Boutique, Alchemist’s Cove and Games, Beer Haven, Lewis General Store, Beauty Craft Company, The Stone House Bed & Breakfast…
