The 626 is in the house!
Saturday, June 26 is Pasadena 626 Day, designed to get people out of their homes — where they’ve stayed put for 1 1/2 years — and into the city’s cultural and business hubs.
Yeah, it’s a bit PR-ish. But for many business emerging from the pandemic, it’s a chance to reintroduce themselves. They could use some publicity.
There are incentives, of course — discounts, specials and swag for those in the mood for shopping, dining and roaming the town.
This all comes as the city has aligned with the lifting of state public health orders, freeing businesses from the strict capacity restrictions that existed throughout the pandemic.
Re-birth? The city certainly believes so.
“The timing of the Pasadena 626 Day is important and intended to signal a new day for the businesses community,” according to a city release about the event.
