Schroders brings on fiduciary management business development director

David Thomas was named fiduciary management business development director at Schroders, a spokesman confirmed.

The role is new. Mr. Thomas will focus on the investment needs of the firms’ fiduciary management clients, reporting to Claire Glennon, co-head of U.K. and Ireland institutional.

“David brings a considerable amount of institutional and FM experience to the role. He will help lead the business as we continue to focus on growth and meeting the complex investment needs of our clients. This appointment further reinforces our ongoing commitment to the FM space,” Ms. Glennon said in a news release Tuesday.

Mr. Thomas was most recently vice president within Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s U.K. and Irish institutional client business and head of fiduciary management sales for U.K. institutional. A spokesman declined to comment about a replacement.
