Sen. Jeremy Cooney honors local black, LGBTQ+ owned small business with state award

JonJohn’s Bakery is a black-owned LGBTQ+ business known for its mac and cheese that has been a family recipe for generations.

Small businesses are the heart of our community and JonJohn’s commitment to social causes and working with other small businesses shows that mission-focused ventures can be a model for success,” Senator Jeremy Cooney said. As the first Indian American Senator from upstate New York, I know that representation matters, and seeing a black-owned LGBTQ+ thrive in our district only adds to our diversifying population.
