Presenters representing a number of organizations aimed at helping small businesses, especially those operated by Latino owners, came to the Riverbank Community Center recently to bring awareness about free resources available to them.
It was part of a series of informational workshops put together by the Central Valley Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Valley Sierra Small Business Center, City Ministry Network and the county’s Opportunity Stanislaus initiative.
The speakers brought information on those resources available for both small and Latino-owned businesses in the county. In addition to the presentation at the Riverbank Community Center on Thursday, June 24, other locations were the sites for presentations earlier in the week, including Newman, Turlock, and Hughson. After the Riverbank gathering, the presenters took their message and information to Modesto on Friday.
