Southwest CEO tests positive for COVID-19 after Senate testimony

Southwest Airlines CEO Gary Kelly has tested positive for COVID-19, the company said Friday, just two days after he testified along with other airline leaders at a U.S. Senate hearing.

“Although testing negative multiple times prior to the Senate Commerce Committee Hearing, Gary tested positive for COVID-19 after returning home, experiencing mild symptoms, and taking a PCR test,” a Southwest spokesperson told FOX Business in a statement.
