Tallahassee woman reopens business after food truck was stolen month ago

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – After having her food truck vandalized and stolen a few months ago, Tallahassee resident and CC’s Tastebox owner Cierra Bennett was finally able to reopen her business for the first time this weekend.

To celebrate, she wanted to have a family friendly event with a bounce house, vendors and music. Bennett said she’s been waiting months for this day and is so excited to finally be back.

“It’s just been real hard,” Bennett told WCTV. “But I couldn’t even sleep last night because I was so excited, anxious, and ready to come. So I’m just happy, I’m just all-around happy. Just beyond, unless that’s all.”

Bennett said her truck will be open from Wednesday through Sunday at West Tennessee Street and White Drive and said a physical location will be ready to open within the next month.
